Acupuncture and Kids
At the Community Acupuncture Project of Columbia City, we've had patients as young as 7 years old coming in for treatments. One 13 year old with foot pain, described his first experience with "needles inside me" as "weird!" and the sensation was as if someone were "pushing on a bruise." A seven year old boy found that after two treatments his daily nose bleeds were completely cured. We also have a lot of kids and babies in our waiting room, hanging out and playing while their adult and parent figures get acupuncture. If you know or have kids with a health concern, acupuncture can be very effective in quickly addressing the child's health issue.

let me quote yahoo for their description for: Acupunture: "A procedure used in or adapted from Chinese medical practice in which specific body areas are pierced with fine needles for therapeutic purposes or to relieve pain or produce regional anesthesia."
